It was August/September when I was contacted by Mrs S who had planed to her baby at Beaudesert hospital as they have just recently re opened there maternity section they don’t currently have a photographer who goes in and photographs the babies like most other hospitals so I offered to pop in and give some life style images a go as I have only ever done one other session like this.
I had been waiting for my phone to go off in the days leading up to Mrs S induction date as she was now over her 40 week mark and then I got the long awaited message that I had been waiting for.
THE DAY HAD COME !!
On Monday the 12 September I had the pleasers to meet and photograph Master B who was a fresh 21 hours new, I was so excited and nervous all at the same time, I could not wait to get to the hospital and meet him and catch up with Mrs S and hear about her experiences having her baby at the new maternity ward at our local hospital, so after a nice hour and a half and lots of baby snuggles I had taken some very rare moments of mum and baby together in their first 24 hours together.
I would love to thank Mrs S for allowing me to capture these moments for her as I know they will be treasured for the years to come.
